We hosted a foreign exchange student Joana Jakimovska from Macedonia

Why did you choose Slovenijo and the Faculty of Law and Business Studies at the Catholic Institute (FLBS)?
I have chosen Slovenia for this exchange because is a country with a beautiful nature and culture. This country has so much to offer to students. And I have chosen Faculty of Law and Business Studies at the Catholic Institute because I was searching for а Faculty that will fit with my studies, in my country and a faculty that offers interesting subjects with even more interesting lectures. I have made the right decision, my short-term stay on this faculty contributed significantly to the enrichment of my views on the profession that I study.

What did you like the most during your exchange?
Definitely student life in general and the way students are treated in Ljubljana. Then, this city, as it is told, with a green soul, excellently preserved green spaces and nature even in the heart of the city centre. I enjoyed Slovenian national cuisine.

What have you improved?
The first is new lifelong friendships. These have been formed not only with my friends there, but also with people from school, fellow exchange students, professors and my most professional and kind coordinator. The second is my career goals. This exchange has given me the time to decide exactly who and what I want to be. The third is my own personal growth.

How would you recommend your colleagues to repeat your exchange in FLBS?
I will encourage colleagues from my faculty to have their mobility at the Faculty of Law and Business Studies, because this faculty has a good organization, professional and hospitable hosts, quality lectures, access to online library, and an opportunity to exchange experiences with students from several countries.
